European Roulette Wheel

The European roulette wheel has a total of 37 pockets (0 – 36). The numbers are not laid out sequentially, though the colours do alternate between red and black around the wheel (excluding zero of course). The exact positioning of the numbers can be seen in the diagram.

There are structured bets which relate to certain sections of the European roulette wheel layout and these are referred to as 'French Bets'. They allow a player coverage of a group of numbers that are linked side by side on the wheel. French bets include Voisins du Zero (Neighbours of Zero), les Orphelins (the Orphans), Tiers du Cylindre (Third of the Wheel) and Jeu Zero (Zero Game).
